E1P Operations


As Explorer 1 [Prime] continues in build statues, more information will be added so please excuse the brevity of the content below.

E1P is an Amateur Radio class project operating on 70cm. The satellite operates an audio tone telemetry beacon that codes particle count rate in the pitch of the tone as well as a 1200baud FSK Ax.25 packet radio beacon.

At certain times in the life of the mission uplink to command the satellite will be available to amateurs. Details will be released here prior to launch.
