MONTANA SPACE GRANT CONSORTIUM
The Montana Space Grant Consortium (MSGC) was established in 1991 as a component of NASA’s National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program. The Montana program is one of a national network of 52 Consortia, working to strengthen aerospace research and education in the United States.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal agency created by Congress in 1950 “to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; to secure the national defense…” We fulfill our mission chiefly by making grants. Our investments account for about 25% of federal support to America's colleges and universities for basic research: research driven by curiosity and discovery. We also support solutions-oriented research with the potential to produce advancements for the American people.
AIR FORCE RESEARCH LABS
The Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) is the primary scientific research and development center for the Department of the Air Force. AFRL plays an integral role in leading the discovery, development, and integration of affordable warfighting technologies for our air, space, and cyberspace force. With a workforce of more than 12,500 across nine technology areas and 40 other operations across the globe, AFRL provides a diverse portfolio of science and technology ranging from fundamental to advanced research and technology development.

Founded in 1959, the Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is a nonprofit organization owned by Utah State University with over 1,200 employees located at offices nationwide. We are committed to providing world-class multi-domain capabilities to address the nation’s biggest challenges. SDL’s diverse and talented workforce includes scientists, engineers, and business professionals dedicated to providing solutions that support all mission phases from concept to completion. LOCKHEED MARTIN SPACE
A major division of Lockheed Martin, the company's space group provides services to entities as large as the US military to as small as professors at leading universities. They are designing, building and testing lunar and deep space exploration capabilities, including NASA’s Orion spacecraft, and creating early-warning weather and climate observation satellites, like the GOES-R series.

Founded in 1988, Stottler Henke Associates, Inc. applies cognitive modeling, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and other advanced technologies to solve problems that defy solution using traditional approaches.
JOHN HOPKINS APPLIED PHYSICS LABOARATORY
Johns Hopkins APL is a not-for-profit university affiliated research center (UARC) that solves complex research, engineering, and analytical problems that present critical challenges to our nation.
Our scientists, engineers, and analysts serve as trusted advisors and technical experts to the government, ensuring the reliability of complex technologies that safeguard our nation’s security and advance the frontiers of space.
